Thank you once again for trying out for solos.  We enjoyed hearing you all sing individually.  We really thought you all were fantastic.  We want you to know that we have always looked at our choir as a choir that gives many opportunities to everyone. Whether that be dancing, instruments, solos, or speaking parts.  We want everyone to have a chance to do something extra if they want to. If you didn't make it this year please come back next year and tryout.  Please understand that this was not an easy decision for us as your directors. Keep singing and remember that every single one of you is important to our choir.  We are a team! To give more opportunities we doubled up some of the solos since we have two performances.  We do not know at this point in time what performance you will be singing at. We want to thank everyone who tried out for solos this spring.  We commend you for having the courage to try out and we want you to know that if we could , we would give everyone a solo.  You all did a job well done. If you do not get a solo this time we encourage you please come back and tryout again next year if you are a 4th or 5th grader.  If you are a 6th grader we encourage you to keep singing in junior high.  They have wonderful opportunities at the Jr. High and have enriching programs for music and theater. If your name is on this list you will need to come to call back auditions on April 9th from 3:15 to 4:15.
